UIHJ Spring Permanent Council Meeting

The UIHJ held it's Spring Permanent Council meeting last week in Luxembourg.  The Spring meeting is attended by all countries that are not on the African continent.  (Africa holds it's own Spring meeting.)  The meeting was attended by Sue Collins, Gary Crowe and Eric Vennes.

A special workshop was held on Thursday to educate and update the attendees on the effects of the new Judgment Convention put in to play by the Hague Conference.  The Judgment Convention has been signed by many countries already and simplifies the process of domesticating judgments for collection across borders.

Friday, the attendees were updated on the work and activities of the UIHJ and it's experts who are working continuously on many projects world-wide.  For more information, see their web site at: www.uihj.com.
