The Docket Sheet
March-April 2002

Joseph P Butler, President
e-mail bostonpi@msn.com

Congratulations once again to our colleagues in New Jersey! Not only is the NJPPSA setting the standard by which all NJ process servers will be required to adhere, but they are on the verge of another significant victory concerning who will be authorized to serve NJ process outside of New Jersey. Look for both stories on pages 18 & 19.

Other items in this issue concern correctly calculating Federal witness fees, skiptracing tips, educational resources, Internet marketing ideas and much more. In addition to information concerning the NAPPS 2002 Annual Conference in San Diego, you'll also find a list of seminar speakers, their bios and the topics they will discuss.

There is no question that attending the annual conference will be the best thing you can do for your business this year. However, if you find you are forced to miss it, the next issue of TDS will feature lots of photographs and full convention coverage. Although we will do our best, it will never be the same as being there in person. I'm looking forward to seeing you in San Diego.
